# DealRadar Finds launch plan

## Goal

Build DealRadar Finds as a clean creator/social traffic source for Temu:

`short video -> /v/{video_id} -> /deal/{deal_id} -> /go/{deal_id}?tag={tag}-product-{deal_id} -> Temu`

The `/v/{video_id}` shortlink sets a 7-day first-party source cookie before sending the shopper to the product page. The final `/go` click reads that cookie and applies the creator tag. This keeps the account posture simple: owned creator channel, adult shoppers, affiliate disclosure, and measurable source tags.

## Registration positioning

Use this copy with Jenny or in partner review:

> We are launching DealRadar Finds as a dedicated creator/social channel for Temu product discovery. It will focus on adult shoppers, short-form product finds, coupon checks, and compliant affiliate disclosures. The landing hub is https://www.dealsradar.app/finds. We will not use bought Facebook groups or children-directed traffic. Would this be the right channel type for individual registration?

## Public URLs

- Consumer hub: `https://www.dealsradar.app/finds`
- Partner kit: `https://www.dealsradar.app/creator-kit`
- Video shortlinks: `https://www.dealsradar.app/v/drf-001`
- Product pages: `https://www.dealsradar.app/deal/t14`
- Temu exits: `/go/{deal_id}?tag={source}-product-{deal_id}`

## First 7 days

Day 1:
- Create social handles: `@DealRadarFinds` on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram.
- Bio: "Useful Temu finds, coupon checks, and buying notes. Ad/affiliate. Check final price before buying."
- Link in bio: `https://www.dealsradar.app/finds`.
- Pin or feature the partner kit internally for approval conversations.

Days 2-3:
- Publish 9 starter videos from the launch queue.
- Use shortlinks from `/creator-kit`.
- Put `#ad #affiliate` in captions.
- Add one practical buying check in every caption.

Days 4-5:
- Double down on the highest save/comment format.
- Publish at least 3 videos per day.
- Keep the first 2 seconds focused on visual utility, not coupon language.

Days 6-7:
- Review click tags from `/go`.
- Kill topics that get views but no profile/site clicks.
- Make 5 variants of the best hook.

## Content rules

Do:
- Lead with product utility.
- Include one buying check: size, reviews, compatibility, material, delivery, or return terms.
- Use a specific tag per video.
- Send traffic through DealRadar before Temu.
- Mention affiliate disclosure in caption and landing.

Avoid:
- Bought Facebook groups.
- Children-directed traffic from CucuTime.
- Medical or health outcome claims.
- Counterfeit or brand-dupe claims.
- Guaranteed savings.
- "Only today" urgency unless verified.
- Products where safety risk is the main buying decision.

## Metrics

Track daily:
- Videos published.
- Views per video.
- Completion rate.
- Saves and comments.
- Profile clicks.
- DealRadar landing clicks.
- `/go` clicks by tag.
- Temu payout, when available.

Decision rules:
- If a hook gets views but no clicks, rewrite CTA and landing promise.
- If a video gets saves but no clicks, make it a comparison/checklist variant.
- If a tag generates `/go` clicks, produce 5 more variants in the same category.
- If a category produces clicks for 3 days, add a dedicated category landing page.

## Scale path

Stage 1: English and Spanish general channel.

Stage 2: Category clusters:
- Desk and creator setup.
- Home organization.
- Kitchen gadgets.
- Car accessories.
- Pet cleanup and travel.

Stage 3: Localized pages and captions:
- Spain Spanish.
- US Spanish.
- Portuguese Brazil.
- Catalan and Basque SEO pages after social proof exists.

Stage 4: Paid testing:
- Only promote proven organic winners.
- Send paid traffic to DealRadar landings, not raw Temu links.
- Keep creator-style ads, not coupon-directory ads.

## Production checklist

For each video:
- Pick a `drf-###` item from `/creator-kit`.
- Use its shortlink in bio/caption when possible.
- Say or show one product benefit.
- Say or show one buying check.
- Add `#ad #affiliate`.
- Verify the shortlink resolves before posting.
- Log the platform and publish date next to the video id.
